clay pots in your tank ???????????

I've used clay pots for years and have never had them change my water color.

They will be fine, as long as they are terracotta. Don't use the white pots, they will break down. Terracotta pots have been used for many years as breeding caves, spawning slates, and many other miscellaneous uses.

It is fine, it is commonly used for hides and breeding quarters. Many people cut them up to sizes too, so you just use pieces too, doesn't have to be whole pots.

Terracotta pots are great to use for hiding places. I have used them plenty of times and not once did it ever turn the colour of my water.
