Hi all,
Just wondering if I could get away with putting small cats like Cory's, tetras, ect in with a 28" rtc. Just to help clean up some of the small bits of fish, prawns, ect that end up drifting around the tank in feeding time, only the catfish in the tank at this moment, so nothing else would eat them.

Is it possible to pull this off? Anyone done it before, or is it just hit or miss type of thing?
Thanks in advance.

He would eat them like tic-tac and tear up the tank trying to catch them.

I take that as a no then lol, it's just when I drop the prawns in you get loads of little bits fall off them, I was trying to come up with a solution so didn't have to vac it out as it get caught on the external filters outlet cage. So a large gibby or common plec is the answer?

Your catfish shouldn't be messy as far as eating it must be what u feed or your feeding to much to often it should be swallow it's food whole such as frozen smelt or market shrimp

I defrost it for him, that's where the bits are from, I only feed once a week, so I don't think I'm over feeding lol.
