Im wanting to get something that I can put in my 55 and 150g that will go and clean all the extra food that my fish dont find, I tried ghost shrimp but they dont last very long, and I think they hide more than they try to actually eat anything, so any ideas would help, and where I can order them if you know.

I just dont want anything picky and with my balas and my soon to be lima with my oscar I dont think there will be enough room for everything.

Honestly, considering what you have as far as stock goes, i doubt any invert will work in your tank long enough to be a good cleaner without getting eaten...

I was thinking of a crayfish or maybe a smallish lobster if it wouldnt try to snatch up anything

I'm not sure the smaller species or dwarf crays would survive in that tank either considering the dwarfs only reach about 1.5" - 2"... although if you had A LOT of cover, they may survive a little while...

depends on what fish you have, crayfish may not work...will eat small fish and get eaten by large ones. shame there isn't an effective clean up crew for FW like in SW

ive heard freshwater clams do a pretty decent job helping keep water clean
