cleaning A 180g tank

Ok. Here I go again asking a question that I feel I know the answer too , yet I still need to hear other advice, opinions, insults. Ya know what i mean.
THE question is how do I properly clean a 180g that was last used for salt water? It is empty just has salt residue on it, nothing built up. I am doing this by myself and have no way to move it. So Ill have to use a bucket and my python. SO do I just use water and rinse it? Or the cap full of bleach method, in that case with a 180 i'd use more than a cap. How much is to much. Does viniger or ammonia work?

I'm pretty sure a vinegar/water mix will help remove salt creep as well as coralline algae.

I use straight white vinagar to get the salt off the sides of the tank. inside the tank i wouldnt see a problem. just make sure to flush the tank a few times. good luck

thanks guys!! Ive never delt with a SW tank so I was just checkin! Already rinseing it now going to go throw some vinagar in the mix now and see if it speeds up

I have found salt is easiest removed with warm water. Calcium deposits are going to need vinegar and a razor blade. The razor blade may help loosen up the salt too.

Lots of water to flush it out when you are done. Easy to do with a python and a foot stool. Don't underestimate the importance of the foot stool.

Thanks for the responces everyone. I used mostly water and a little vinager on the tough spots filled and emtpyied. Im making a w/d for the 180 now so stay tuned for a build thread. Oh and kdrun the night before I started cleaning it I was at walmart and saw a computer chair and thought "hey i need that" because my g/f recently stole mine. SO instead I bought a metal folding chair that doubles as my footstool!

A folding chair? Yipes... I can see/ hear the yelps now, the chair collapsed, one leg stuck in it one arm wrapped around the tank splashing the other leg hoping to touch the ground solidly enough to get the weight off the trapped leg......

LMAO!! I actually did video it!! But afterwards I realized I cant post it, I was in my underwear! lol Because i wear baggy shorts and dont have the flexablity to climb up and stand on the 2in ledge on the sides of the stand. SO i took them off. I needed to be able to reach the back/bottom/middle of the tank , theres a huge glass bracing?? on the top. Anyway Im taking pictures for the new thread now. But youll never see the video unless my g/f steals it and youtubes it, Im so glad she doesnt have the patience for this site.

laundry day, it was my g/f's thong.
Ill never tell because that would make it easier to find if it does end up on youtube. I would have probably put it up BUT theres a part when I accidently (really didnt mean too) bent over the front of the tank putting my BUTT in the center of the pic. Im not the ugliest guy but noone wants to see my butt but my g/f ( i hope)
