Hello fellow gar keepers...
So it's been about 2 months since I have added my Alli. in my tank and I have a good amount of waste acumulating on the bottom so Im gonna clean the gravel/rocks w/a siphon. But I'm a little worried w/my Alli. spooking and trying to jump out. On the day I purchased the gar, he jumped out of the tank and flew 5' out. Lucky he was on a tank on the floor and landed on its belly.
Also sometimes when I feed it he sorta jumps up and hits his head on the top glass
...
So I was wondering if there is a "special" method you guys use to not spook/scare it from jumping and hurting itself.
