If your arm is not long enough in 30inch deep tanks how do you rearrange gravel, replant plastic plants etc

Plastic rakes on extention poles. I use paint poles with corner applicators for cleaning algae from my deep tanks.
It's either extention poles, lowering the water level, or donning a mask and snorkel.

Do your fish freak out when you all clean and rearrange tanks?

Sometimes. The splash zone on maintenance days can be 8-10 feet. I can usually count on getting wet from head to toe several times a week.

rotbow, How do you reach down far into deep tanks?

climb in

but if its a small tank and just deep try useing a squwigi (no idea how to spell it ) but its the thing you use to clean glass with when you wipe it across the glass to wipe water or cleaner off i use a clean one of those conected to a pole

dude, this has been blown way outta proportion. his tank's 30" deep, nothing compared to oddballs im sure. so i doubt he can climb in.:D but as oddball said in the first post, Plastic rakes on extention poles should be okay. tell us if it worked!

Get a friend with long arms. Worked for me.

Get higher shorty  Try standing on a stepstool or milkcrates.
