I have 6 of lal cheng in a heavily planted speciemen tank, ( posted some pic in the media/pic forum btw :naughty:)
just thought i wanted to add a cleaning crew for some dead plants and left over food...
is that even possible? if so, Any suggestion? I was thinking Corydoras....

Why not get the native garra from the same habitats.
I am not sure of the exact species that is endemic to channa sp assam's habitat but garas are found just about everywhere in india.

My new sp assams ate all the snails in their tank, so I'm also on the lookout for cleaners.....especially algae!

you said you used snails already, where they big enough? i have had good luck with siver dollar size apple snails (the coin not the fish) in large predator barebottom tanks .i dont know if they will bother your live plants.
