Cleaning driftwood

What's the best way to clean algae off driftwood? I got my 125g tank and it has driftwood but it's covered in green crap. I have it outside sitting In the sun drying so I can brush it off. Any other ideas?

I small electric pressure washer works great.

Depending on the size, you can try soaking it in some white vinegar, scrub with something mildly abrasive, then hose off and repeat if necessary.

I use a chunk of this as I drain the water.

I agree with DMD123. Nothing like power pressure washing for effectiveness and ease.
