IN YOUR HEAD
when cleaning one of my tanks the other day i took off the big tube for my syphon (the run trough the sink kind) and just used the 3/4" line to get full suction...well i got full suction then my ropefish darted across the tank right passed the end of the line...slerp head frist into the syphon, got stuck half way in (it is 13" long)...now i had the hose kinked in one hand hose with ropefish inside in the other, and the water was still on for full suction, with no free hands to turn it off (not to mention that it was 15 feet away):nilly::eek:...thankfully my brother-in-law was neer the sink to listen to my instructions how to reverse flow to spit the fish out...the fish lives on with a few scuffs and a story to tell the other polys in the tank...while i learned that you can never be to carefull!!!

Glad he survived. Fish can never be trusted!
I vacuumed my Puffer out of his tank and into the bucket once.
I heard a little "Pffwooomp" sound and i knew he was in there.
But the puffer didn't seem to mind, and luckily didn't blow up while in the hose!lol
he's still doing fine and it happened several months ago.

the ting that was the worst was that the ropefish had eatten and had a lump from the food...that is what stopped the fish...it was the worst and the best cause if not for the lump it wouldn't have stopped till it hit the sink...

My girlfriend has a cory cat that got sucked into the bucket, dumped from the bucket into the toilet (gurgle, gurgle), somehow escaped the backpressure flush. I fished it out and now he is known as toilet fish. Seems none the worse for wear, going on about 2 months now.

Had a neon that got sucked through 50 feet of hose into the shower basin drain. The cat picked him up by the tail just as I was walking in. grabbed the cat who freaked and dropped the neon who I managed to catch in the air. Put him back in the tank.

Within the next week the other 11 neons died from petco care or being eaten. EXCEPT FOR the one neon the got vacuumed into the shower.
