cleaning old decorations

i have a bunch of old plastic decorations that had accumulated small amounts of algae on them before i took them out. they have been sitting in a dry place now for a few months. i want to put them into a newly setup tank. is there anyway other than boiling to clean them?

Soak them in bleach. Just make sure they are rinsed thoroughly and dechlorinated before putting them back in.

After the bleach soak (not full strength), soak & wash in dish soap to remove the old algae remains.
