Cleaning old filters

i have a bunch of old hangon filters with white crusty stuff on them. what can i do to make them look almost new.

White Vinegar does the trick for me. It gets rid of everything with a little help from a scotch brite pad.

Just get your hands in there and do it.

Hot water and vinegar will break up a lot of that white stuff. Then you can use a scrubbie to get the rest.
