Bloody hell... decided to clean out the roach colony a friend of mine gave me. It got about a foot of frass, I removed all the cardboard into a new bin and there still a zillion crawling around.

Would you just throw out the frass with the roaches in it, or is there a way to salvage it?

They are discoid roaches... problem is that the species is a natural burrower; so it is not as easy to clean them out as say lobster roaches.

So... I got a foot of frass in a 4' cage, and I need to sort out the nymphs from the frass.

So I've got worm frass in my pails of superworms? Wow, the frass is growing like grass, how crass. Sorry, I couldn't resist being an a@#.

Wow, I learned a new word today! Kioka you must clean house at Scrabble. Anyways, can you dump the "frass" through an old colander or something?

on I think theroachguy.com He shows you how he took a couple small buckets and drilled several holes in it to aid in cleaning roach colonies. It looks like a pretty simple task once you make drill the buckets.
