How do you clean the inside of your siphons? How do you dry the inside after a water change?

One of my small gravel vacs grew a small amount of black mold in it, from not drying out. To clean it out I tied a piece of paper towel to some fishing line. I pushed the fishing line through the siphon. Then I wetted the towel with a bleach and water solution. The towel was then pulled through a couple of times. I rinsed the siphon with some more of the bleach solution and then rinsed it out with regular water.

The biggest problem is keeping the inside dry. I tried hanging the siphon from a clothes line in my basement, but that wouldn't completely dry it out.

So, how do you do it? I would imagine that with a python, this would be an even bigger problem.

I never worry about it. I figure that (using a python) I drain water out of the tank and most of the mold that will get into the water does so. Then when I use the python to pump water back in, there is no mold that will easily get into the water. Just my speculation.
