I'm with him. I have a metal strainer that holds 5 cups of medium Pea Gravel at a time, and a pot that it can fit into. I made a Wire Hanger holder for the strainer. just bring the pot to a hard boil lower the strainer in full of gravel. When the water comes back to a boil I take it out. Rinse and repeat.

1 of my lfs told me to use hydrogen poroxide to clean them, but thats why i am asking this whole question cuz it didnt sound right to me

If your interested in using a chemical I'd use 50/50 cheapo bleach to water. then do a Prime / water bath. Lastly put it in a bucket full of fresh water and test for chlorine after it sits over night.

Boiling is faster.
