cleaning the back

I have a 77gal tank, it's really close to the wall (2 1/2") I need to clean off some hard water stains and find anything to scrape them off. i've tryed a razor but I cant seem to get enough leverage to keep the razor against the tank. Anyone ever run into this before?

if worse comes to worse, you can stick the fish in a bucket, drain the tank and then move it to a place thats more readily accessible for cleaning.

the idea of draining a 77 with a dozen or so fish is uh... my last resort
any other ideas or suggestions, the tank has been there for a year or so. I really don't have any other rooms avail. (have a 35 and 55 aswell in other rooms)

Some people suggested vinagar for hard water stains. Maybe you could use a broom handle with a damp vinagar cloth wrapped around it.

I bought one of those algea scrubbers with a really long handle at petsmart. Maybe that would help you.
