Anyone know a faster way then razor? it not coming off. Well it is but not as good.

top brace? if your talking paint or glue i suggest paint remover. it is very nasty gear. DO NOT GET ON HANDS i did when i was young and got rushed to hospital. i suggest it. i had a black background on my tank so i used that gear to get it off and it bubbles up and all i did is got a barbeque scraper to get off. sooo easy

white vinegar? The tank is going to be drained and empty. all gravel is going to be removed but not during cleaning... So what im saying white vinegar can be washed out and be ok for reuses?

No im talking about the white build up u get. Its from water. The name isnt in my head right now. i razored it all off but it didnt go a good job

umm i would clean gravel with boiling water and wash tank out dude? im still confused at what your talking about

calcium build up! on the top brace. How do i remove it? refer to top post on what doesn't work..

Oh sorry hah i get where u got lost at. can a mod add calcium build up on my title. thanks

Ok nm the hole damn thing.... im doing the warm water trick now...

Take a clean cloth with a little white vinegar on it and rub the calcium deposit with the vinegar making sure that none goes in the water. The calcium will dissolve and you can then polish the glass with dry kitchen paper towel.
Please be carefull to do this only on the outside of the tank as the vinegar will affect the PH of the water if it gets into it
I own a pet store and we clean the outside of the display tanks this way..

i have no fish and the gravel is going to be removed... can i just let it hit the water and wash out everything after words?
