Cleaning used tank.

Wants the best way to clean a used tank? Last time i used somebodies else used tank my fish got columnaris. I just picked up a 55 to use as a hospital tank. Dont want that to happen again.

i just use extream hot water but u can use vinager in the wather also just make sure u rinse it really well

vinegar+baking soda solution then rinse

Bleach in a spray bottle. Really coat the inside good - get around the rim. Wash it out really well & air dry for a couple days. Shouldn't have any problems.

all i use is boiling water

All I've every used is a strong vinegar/water mix with a green scrub pad. Then disinfect with bleach/water mix and rinse WELL................
