So how often do you clean your wet dry system? I clean the pre filter pads every week or every other week but i rarely clean the bio balls themselves. I probably do it once a year.

If you have a lot of sludge in your wet dry then you should clean it out because it will basicly cause ammonia and nitrate in your tanks...but use tank water to rinse out the balls so you wont kill all your bacteria
I clean the filters every 2 weeks, partial water changes each week, bio-balls one every few years.
How do you clean bio balls with tan kwater? dosent that cload your water and make it dirty of is their a trick or technique to do it????

You gotta clean the bioballs sometime cause eventually debris builds upn them and eventually nitrates will increase more rapidly. Fine Mechanical media makes a difference, the finer the media is the less often you will have to clean the bioballs.
