I have a 125 gallon SA/CA tank with the following cichlids in it:

2 JD
1 FM
2 Geo. Jurupari
1 Oscar
1 Green Severum

Now, about the cleanup crew. how about:
1 Leopard Sailfin Pleco
3 Synodontis
2 Raphael

o yea, i forgot. als, can i add a lima shovelnose to the tank?? all the occupants are juvies (1-2.5 inches). i figured i would let them get a little bit bigger before i add the shovelnose. but i wanted 2 pass it with you guys first. wut do you think?

if your going to go with a pleco, i'd go with any of the common ancistrus sp. (bristlenose). they generally do a much better job. the sailfins arent that great, ive got two at the moment, and algae everywhere! royals are supposed to be good too, but if you get a few bristlenose, they'll do well. o and just dont get 2 males, they'll usually just kill each other.

As of right now the shovelnose would be fine but you might find it will be a little overstocked as they grow.

how about this. i leave the cichlids in there. but i change up the cleanup crew to 3 BNPs 2 Raphael Cats and 3 synodontis. then i get a lima shovelnose??

Personally I would choose between the lima or the raphael cats. Also I don't believe raphael cats play very nice together.

My question would be what are you planning them to clean up :)

so you are saying that i should put 3 synodontis, and 3 BNPs and the lima shovelnose?? that sounds good 2 me.

My question would be what are you planning them to clean up
my oscars feeding time mess. the thing is about 3 inches and it makes such a big mess for such a small fish...

That should work out nicely. The only problem your going to have now is getting food to the oscar without the SN getting it:naughty: . Those things can eat and are greedy. You chould be alright though cuz you can just feed until they all stop eating.
