Clear area on Royals tail?

So, I recently got my second royal... cuuuuuute lil one. It's smaller than my other royal was when I got him, and I have a question because of that:

Will the clear 'window' on his tail last until adulthood or will it shrink with age?

I ask because my other royal doesn't have the window as much... they look like the same species, but my other royal has a 'club' shape to the clear part of his tail, almost didn't see it there at all, and since he's larger, that's why I'm wondering.

Its a juvie thing. You may not have the same species, some display it more than others.
