What can I put in my sump to keep my water crystal clear?

Are you seeing particles left in your water or tannins turning it a bit brownish yellow? Either need better mechanical or chemical filtration depending.

Do you have your drains running through a sock? If you do just get a finer one to strain more particulates out- providing you don't mind changing it more often. Also you could invest in a battery powered gravel vac. I have one and it's great for spot cleaning poop before it gets broken up and ends up in the water column

not enough info, tank size and filters running now besides the sump? if just running a sump you want to add a mech filter like a AC110 depending on tank size. sumps are bio filters. you want a good mech filter to remove particulates from the water, ideally you want 10x mech filtration for tank volume and 5x for bio filtration.
