Just something to help clarify, the fish you have pictured as Crenicichla tapajos red are actually Crenicichla sp. 'venezuela'. :) Just so there is no confusion in case someone wants to buy the tapajos red and then ends up with the venz...lol.

Is this true?? I've been looking for Tapajos Red for a long time. Can you get any real Tapajos Red Pikes? Does anyone know if the Tapajos Red pike is the same as a Cobra Pike?

tapajos red is not the same as cobra. In tapajos red, both sexes display red color and have a black humeral blotch behind the pectoral fin. In cobra, only the female display red and no humeral blotch.

The picture shown above is of an old pic. He does indeed have true TR pikes if Rich can confirm which fish he's selling by reposting the picture.
