I have a question in regards to water clarity. I have a newer 100 gallon that has finished cycling based on test kit readings. I use Prime with my water changes but my water still seems a little cloudy. Not bad just not crystal clear like my 56. Should I add some sort of secondary mechanical filtration or should I use a supplement such as Sea-chem clarity? Suggestions?
Also tank has a 50 gallon sump turning water over about 8-9 times an hour on the low side. Feed once a day and no more than the fish will eat.

Thanks

I think it is pretty good. This is my first tank of this size. Before this my 56 was my largest. I have a koralia 2 opposite the overflow box. So I have current going from right to left as well as a penguin 1140 at the bottom below the overflow pushing water back to the right side of the tank. Tried to create a circular motion in the tank to get all water to flow to the overflow. I will just keep up on the water changes to see if that helps. For current media I have a filter sock then two baskets of bio media. One of scrubbies and one of bio balls. Sump also has a bubble trap and a place with my carbon bag.

im with john.. let the tank get a good colony set up.. then if its still an issue look into adding some finer filter media.. scrubbies and bio balls work great but sometimes filterfloss or something is needed for polishing
