clipping nails?

well, my vailed cham's nails are really long and sharp, and i know that you can clip some herpsnails. is it nessecery? is it bad to do on chameleons?
 
You should not clip its nails, chams are arboreal and its very important for them to have their nails not clipped so they can normally go about what chams do.

I had one too,its the one thing I warn ppl of other than diet and vits.They got a very strong grip and those nails just dig in dont they.Thats all,lol.
