I returned from my week of work and I tested my water before I did a water change like I always do, I always have 20 or higher before this regular water change, but this time it was 5 , the ammonia and nitrate were 0 like usual. While changing the water I noticed my Fx5 flow was reduced to a trickle due to a clogged water polishing pad, my other filters were working fine. I replaced the pad and it flows normal again. Could the low nitrates be due to such a slow flow over the Seachem matrix that is in my Fx5?
