I've got a 55 brackish setup with scats, dats, cats, monos and a Malawi blue crab. This tank was originally built for archers and the hood was designed to hold in crickets...needless to say my blue crab is a bit tougher. The first time I found him in a base drum across the basement. About a month ago he was out for 24 hrs before I found him under the couch. This time we were going on two days - I left my office for 5 minutes and when I returned he was in the middle of the floor - moving a little slow and dark in color but I stuck him back in the tank and he seems to be doing fine. I know he will soon mount. Maybe he is just trying to hide out for the mount. Anyone know how long these guys can survive out of water?
