EDIT: Dang, can't change the title to capitalize the "M". That's going to bug me.

Using a 50mm manual focus ($20) and extension tubes ($10). Hopefully some of you appreciate how hard it is to focus manually on a fish smaller than my thumb with a working depth of field of about 1/4"...

what was the shutter speed u were using and getting manual on a moving target is neat
 
Shutter speed was 1/60 with ISO of 100. Aperture was f16 or f18 I don't remember (not in the image data because the lens is full manual, and it wasn't attached directly to the body anyways). I loaded the tank up with light and used my SB-600 wirelessly.

It would be nice if the lips were in focus too but oh well.
 
awesome! i can definitely appreciate manual focus. its hard enough for me on a stationary subject, let along a moving fish!!!
