The time has come to upgrade my frontosa colony's 75g tank to a larger setup. I am picking up a 240g acrylic tank this friday and I have a few questions.
I've never used a sump or a closed loop system, but the tank has 2 overflows and it is drilled for a closed loop system (was originally intended to be a reef tank). The tank comes with all the plumbing and a reeflo dart pump for the closed loop. Will the frontosa even like the added circulation? Or should I just cap off the holes for the closed loop system?
Also, will I be able to use my crushed coral in the tank with the closed loop and the acrylic. I've never owned an acrylic tank, and I'm assuming the crushed coral will scratch it all to hell, and that the closed loop system will just blow it around.
Thanks.
