Clouded Archer Fish

Just wondering what the deal with these guys are. Couldn't help but notice that 2" are $30 at wetspot and was wondering how a single one would do theoretically. I've read that they can be kept as single or that they can be kept in groups of 3 or more, but who has experience with them? It might be a fish I'd consider trying to get if it'd be fine and thrive as a single fish but my tank is currently a little too stocked to get a group of 4 or more going haha

Searching brings up threads from 2012 and earlier where these guys were $100+ at 3", so hopefully some of those guys still have these fish 3 years later to say what their care and behavior is like.

I had two in a 75 gallon Brackish tank. They were housed with Scats,mono sebaes,and a violet goby.

I have two in my 90G tank now with indo dats and clown loaches. Very active fishes. Got only two of them and they do seem to chase each other around at times. Keeping an eye on them in case it gets out of hand.

Eating bloodworms, mealworms, tetra bits and hikari carnivore pellets.
