Trying to keep Tank size down, just wondering if this is doable. Archers are top dwellers and do not need deep water, but I'm not sure if 10 inch height is just too shallow. The 4x2 swimming surface area would be great for them though.

They are top fish, and I have seen many time where people will keep archers in shallow tanks with mudskippers. I think it will work, as you can prevent as little evaporation as possible.
