Howdy, and welocme to MFK

How long has your tank been set up? It sounds like it is still in the major cycling process. Increased biofiltration and patience will work wonders

Hiya Aro Ahoy, welcome to MFK. If the cloudyness is greyish it is a bacterial bloom and your filter just hasn't caught up to the bioload yet so you have bacteria living ing the water. You might want to add airstones or a power head until it goes away. The reason your ammonia and nitrites stay low is the free floating bacteria are eating it just like the ones in the filter, the problem is they are unsightly and also consume O2.

is this a new setup? if yes, it will take a little longer for the beneficial bacteria to settle down and once it does your water will be crystal clear in no time. ;)

yea my tanks been set up for about 3 months maybe a little longer. it is a light grey kinda like a dumped a cup o milk in the water. but all my fish are doing wonderful healthy as oxen so if its just a bloom tat takes a load off. i got one double biowheel penguin(kinda old) with the carbon and another supplementary single biowheel penguin. what else should i use? thanks for all the help so far guys. should i keep changing the water once a week?
