I breed Mollies, Dalmations as feeders for my preds. the thing is ive been treating with API accu clear, its been 2 days of appropriate dosing and its still cloudy. maybe even more so. i was away for a couple days and it landed on my breeder tank change day, so i had my sister do a water change. I did not figure she was going to do a great job so when i got home and my tank looked pretty clean i was pleasantly surprised. Now only a few days later it got super cloudy. Could she have put too much bacteria in and its a good bacteria bloom? Would something like Bio-Zorb work or should i do multiple water changes daily? i have done one water change before treatment with accu clear, that was Thursday. any suggestions? i currently have about 70 babies and 5 adult dalmation lyretails in a 20 ga tank, my 10 ga sprung a leak and I'll be getting some glue to fix tomorrow. Ill be going to the LFS in the morning to get treatment stuff so any help within the next like 8 hours would be amazing!

When your sister did the water change did she use any declor? It sounds like a bacterial bloom do daily 25% water changes and it should clear up in a day or two. Use the declor at water changes and Seachem stability a half hour after the water change should help get it right.

Thanks Tom, she did use the declor i figured she just did too much on the api stresszyme i add during water changes ill give this a go, i did another 25% water change when i woke up and took the decor out and rinsed it off, gave the gravel a good deep clean, and only used the declor in water change and it seems to be clearing up a little! ill keep going with the plan again thanks tom!
