After family decided to watcha movie ridiulously loud and would not turn it down even after I told them to. The cichla is just across the room from where they were at and obviously the cichla was very frightened. He must have hit every object in the tank, and now and after just about finishing healing from his last wound he has now banged up his sides fairly good and has a cloudy eye. I'm not sure if the cloudy eye is related to this or not but I have been treating with melafix again, but I was wondering if you guys think the cloudy eye is related to the collisions he had or if it coincidentally showed up at the same time and is maybe a secondary infection from his first ordeal (P.S. they won't be watching anymore loud movies in that room) I was also wondering if you guys think adding another cichla would help relieve stress on him, if so I wil do this sooner rather than later.

oh also how big is your tank and your cichla you have now? they do better in groups but they will get roughed up from each other.. scratches, split or should i say shreaded fins, and scratched eyes are comen.

the tank is a 90 gallon. He is about 7" and I am planning out my new tank for him. I'm not sure if I wil attempt to make an acrylic one but there is a very reasonable custom aquarium maker very close so I am leaning in that direction now as I do not want a seam failure because of my inexperience. The oscar does rough him up a bit and he does have some spit fins. I am going to make a trip to hopefully get another pbass from the same bacth as him. (if they have some)
