Cloudy eyed archerfish

Freshwater archerfish with two cloudy eyes suddenly. get spooked earlier today when I was making a lot of noise remodeling the basement. But the fact that it’s in both eyes is concerning. Still eating fine.

had him for about 2.5 years

this is my favorite fish, if he dies I’m gonna be sad.

Two fluval FX6 canisters.
The tank is 23°C (74° F)
Nitrates <5 ppm

if it was on one eye, it could be an easily treatable bacterial infection...
in Europe we use Ethacridinlactate for some bacterial infections.

You might try Microbe Lift Artemiss. It shouldn't adversely impact the aquarium environment.
You need to act fairly quick or blindness will likely be the result.
