Two of my six synos seem to be developing cloudy eyes.
They were due for routine water changes and overdue for filter cleanings* and there was a small power outtage lasting a couple of hours last week.

* Filters that I currently have on this tank are difficult so lately have not been getting cleaned as much as they should be, which is why I've been looking into getting them a new filter since it looks like I'm not getting around to fixing up their old Magnum 350 anytime soon. If it goes well, I may have a Fluval Fx5 for them soon.

There is a cat here that is sometimes sitting next to the syno tank and loves to climb on top of it .I didn't think there was room, but my mom said he managed to stick a paw in between the filters!. Yikes, so I hope I covered that spot up. I don't think this would lead to this issue, but just throwing it out. Kitty is de-clawed too so cannot go fishing easily( not our choice if anyone asks, he was found a stray already de-clawed).

Think it'll clear up on it's own, just a couple of extra water changes or require any meds or treatments?.

It's most likey your water, that's the most common cause of cloudy eyes. Others are internal parasites, eye damage, and vitamin deficiency. Clean you filter and do a water change. If that doesn't clear your cats eye up then you might have to treat with meds.
