cloudy fish tank help

I just did a water change on 12-4 and today my tank is cloudy again... what do i do....

how long have the filters been running, done anything to the filters? Usually cloudy means not cycled?

I got the tank last year... And i do clean the filter when they need it..

is there any ammonia? Does the tank smell fishy? That is a heterotrophic bacteria cloud, have you done anything different lately?

No and i don't think so. All i have done is add 2 new fish..

yeah i got the same problem, i cleaned my filter pads over the weekend and did a water change yesterday 12/5

Im guessing your tank doesnt have much beneficial bacteria because its bare bottom. Your tank probably holds very little beneficial bacteria and probably relies on the filter for most of the filteration work. Did you change your filter pads when you cleaned your tank??? you may have removed most of the bacteria. test for ammonia and nitrite
