I bought a tank a month back when i first set up the tank sprayed it before i filled her up. after that i notice the tank looks cloudy. changed the water still looking cloudy. anyone think maybe it could just be the glass or light making it like that. i got some fishes in there they strong. been running this tank for a good while and still looks cloudy when i turn on the light for it. weird **** any suggestions?

How much fish do you have in tank size and what type of fish do you have i maybe i can figure something out

It is a 80 gallon tank bow front glass and right now i have about ten small loaches in there.. so its a pretty huge tank to those fishes.

hmm that gets rid of one of my ideas well one thing i can think of is clean or replace filter cartridges and do you do water changes?

Ive done it once since i had the tank set up but all my filters are new too. I cant figure it out

One thing you can do is do a half water change to the tank but this tank is fairly new so it could still be going threw the cycle and also if ure over feeding it could cause a problem and i guess a tip get some community fish before u get scavengers Im not saying anything at all of you doing something wrong if you give them food.Other then what Ive said so far i can't see what really could be a problem but one thing you can get to help clear up the water is something like a wonder shell or water clarifyer and is there any problems with your fish.

how long exactly have you had it up for, coz i'm guessing theres a chance your tank may not be 100% cycled?

hes said he had it up for a month and that's what Im wondering if it went threw cycle

it has been set up for a lil under a month, the fishes i have in there are very healthy two 80 gallon filters running. at first i thought maybe it just needs time too just unsure how long usually would it take for a 80 gallon to finish its cycle ya know.

Thanks everyone for your help i appreciate it
