hey guys i just noticed that on the back of my ornate there is like a cloudy slime coat. i have no clue what it is. the cause that i can think of is the pleco:(( now, i do know not to keep a pleco with poly, after reading through some stuff) sucking the slime coat off and the ornate getting some kind of infection. it also seems like the webbing on his first spine is completely gone. right now i have him in a 10g, with a air pump going, added some salt and stress coat, going to buy a heater tommorrow for it.

heres a pic, i don't have a good enough camera to show the cloudiness on his back, but u can tell theres no webbing on the spine

Its definatly the Pleco and you need a heater in their ASAP polys do really badly in cold water, filter too not just air pump.

Also just get rid of the pleco unless you want it....No one needs a pleco I dont have algae and I dont have plecos.

WTF is that?

Just get rid of the poly and keep the pleco. If I was getting something to take care of algea a pleco wouldn't even be on my list.

its not in the picture but i do have a filter. i am just going to throw the pleco into another tank.

does any1 know what is it though? should i just do daily water changes until he looks better and will the webbing/skin ever grow back?
