I have a saltwater system that is about 150 gallons that has become cloudy/hazy. The system was full of fish and it was clear. I moved a good majority of the fish to a new system and within a few days the system got very cloudy or hazy. I upgraded the protein skimmer and nothing. I used a tank clarifier and nothing. I turned out the lights for a few days and backed off on the feedings and nothing. I have never seen a saltwater system do this when fish are removed. Any info would be great.

Are there any snails in it?

you've got me if thats the case.

sounds like a bacteria bloom to me I would do a good 50% water change and get some good activated carbon in there. If after that it persists you might need a UV sterilizer or your tank is overstocked and causing a Bio overload
