I don't know what to do with my tank anymore.

No matter how much I clean the filter or do water changes with gravel vacs my wat just keeps staying cloudy.

Clear drops do not help at all.

I have a 75 gallon tank with 4 fish in it. I use an Aqua clear 110 power head filter and water parameters are perfect.

What can I do to get my tank crystal clear ?

Maybe it's because your a Jets fan? :grinno:

What are those four fish?

The water does have a JETS greenish tint to it.

The fish are 1 , 4 inch umbee.

2 , 5 inch bala sharks.

1 , 10 inch pleco.

I do not overfeed either.

Plecos are poop machines. I don't think the ac110 is enough for that bio-load the pleco is giving out.

A small canister with a micron filter sock over it would give you the water of your dreams. :)

How long has the tank/filter been running?

Maybe you are going through mini cycles after water changes...

The tanks been running for weeks.

I'm thinking of going with the fluval G6 cannister filter. I just don't want to waste my money if that won't help.

Sometimes is takes a few weeks for the tank to fully cycle...

Unless it is "seeded" with previous filter/gravel/ceramic rings/etc, it can take 2 to 3 weeks for a tank to be fully cycled.

doesnt sound like an uncycled tank....i would personally buy a new filter. different substrates can lead to cloudy/murky water. what kind of substrate do you have
