Details:
360g tank
110 sump and auxiliary 40 gallon k1 bin
Lots of polys, giraffe cats, other non bottom level fish
4gph drip
Normal parameters, maybe 5ppm nitrate reading
Sand bottom
8 month old tank
For about 2 weeks now, my tank has been constantly cloudy. Not where yoy can't see through, but noticeable. There's always constant particles in the column, I'm assuming from having so many bottom feeders? I can't seem to clear up the water through water changes and staying on top of changing out filter socks.
Are there tell tale signs of a bacteria bloom? The tank is heavily fed, but also heavily filtered. How long do bacterial blooms typically last?
My 3 other tanks are crystal clear, so I don't think it's due to a change with my city's water.
This is really annoying me... Help!
