I'm new to this forum so first off I'd like to say hi to everyone in here. I'm glad there's a place like this for me to come to and ask all my stupid questions. Secondly, I've just switched over to salt water tank (after having freshwater for 3 years) and my tank is very cloudy. It's a 46gal tank. I cleaned it out with hyd. peroxide and water then risned it out completely. Then I added water. Then.. at the right temp (about 75 degrees) I added the required amount of salt. The tank looked good. Once the salt appeared to be disolved I placed 40 pounds of Bio-Active Live Aragonite Reef-Sand and the water is now very cloudy. It has been this way for about 8 hours now. I thought it would have all settled by now. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.
