Cloudy Tank

I have around 18 Danios, a Crowntail Betta, 2 Swordtails, a Rubberlip Pleco, and 2 Fancy Guppys [Male/Female]. [Yes its crowded, but I like how active the tank is]

Their in a like. 20-25ish Gallon Tank. The water was fine for the first few days, and then it began to get cloudy. Is there a way to fix this? Shoud I try adding a new filter into it? I was looking forward to getting a Emp. 400 from a LFS for 75ish, but I'm afraid my tank is too small, or it would suck my fish into it. >.<

sounds like a bacteria bloom.... should clear up in a few days... water changes will help quicken the process

Is bacteria bloom bad for the fish?

it should go away with water changes, what are the measurements of the tank, this happened to me when i started my 20 long aquarium with the natives that i put in there

Have you tested the water, that would be a great start.
