Hi,
Everytime I do a water change i seem to have white hazy water for a few days after, I am at a loss to find the source of the problem.
My water perimeters a perfect, I have the following filtration:
Eheim 2080
Eheim 2217
2L Moving bed filter
2L Vibrating bed filter
I have the moving bed and the vibrating bed filters stuck to the back wall of the tank.
When i water change i usually do about 20%.
Please can someone shed any light on why this is happening? The only thing I can think of that could be causing the haze is when the water level drops down, the bacteria from the moving and vibrating bed filters leaks out into the tank....(I have no idea just stabbing in the dark)
With the canister filters i have do I need the moving/vibrating bed filters? Are these overkill?
My 2080 has 1 tray of Eheim Mech Pro, and the other 2 trays filled with Seachem Martix...the 2217 is packed with the Eheim Blue sponges and is just a big mechanical filter.
thanks in advance for help!
