Water parameters are on point but its lookin kinda cloudy. What will help? In the canister i got a carbon bag and biomax bag from my old filter just to start the biological bacteria.

try and pump up the biomedia. if params are good, then the cloudiness will go away with more biomedia.

I ended up buying some peat pellets and some scrubbing sponges i seen other ppl use in the fx5 so we will see what happens in the next few days. Filtration will be better anyways and i bought the peat pellets because i have Gt's in my tank.

What size tank? I have a lot of fish in my 155. Tested water everything was good. Added and fx5 with center full of bio max 3 days later clear water.

peat wont help clear your water, in fact it will cloud it.

:iagree:
GT's don't need peat either.
Let it run for a week, change the carbon and see how things are then.

My intent for peat was to soften the water, not to clear it. I dident know it would make it hazy.
