I have an 80 gal tank with 2 Oscars and 2 albino Plecos. my water has been cloudy since the day we started. i do weekly water changes. and i tried some of that water clear stuff and nothin seems to be workin. Im not sure but i was thinking the light might have something to do with it. right now the tank is at 79 degrees and i leave the light on for like 6 to 8 hours. Any help or info would be appreciated.

was this an established tank or a new one?
It sounds like it's not getting the chance to fully cycle.

water changes will slow down the process when a tank is cycling.
What are the water parameters? That will answer the question.

I wouldnt do any water changes untill the tank is cycled, and the time it could take to cycle could vary.
I suggest to run out and get a test kit to see where you're at in the process. The only sure way to find out how often you should do a water change is to test the water untill your nitrates reach a predetermined level.
