Last tuesday i set-up my 180 with 2 Filstar XP3's and 1 AC110. All the filters and media are brand new. I added 150lbs. of pre-washed polished creek rock from PETCO and filled it with water and started all the filters. I then added a full 4oz. bottle of CYCLE and 2 1\2 cups of cichlid salt. After a day of everything running i added 25 feeder guppies and 15 neon tetras. By Thursday all the fish were doing great so i added 5 Tinfoil Barbs at about 4" and a 3.5" umbee. Friday morning as i expected the umbee had eaten all but 5 of the tetras. I tested the water friday and everything was great and all the fish were vey active and the water was crystal clear. Today is monday and when i came in this morning my tank is cloudy as hell. I have 3 other large tanks that i set-up the exact same way but never have experienced cloudy water at all. The tank has gone 2 days saturday and sunday with no lights on and a constant temp. of 79 degree's. What is causing the cloudy water? And by the way all the tetras and guppies have been eaten by the umbee and the Tinfoils and umbee are very active and seem to be fine.

what are the water parameters?

Bacterial bloom, try to increase the surface motion of the tank and maybe add some sludge from a working filter to the filter, this is one reason I don't trust the commercial cultures. The free floating bacteria should partly end up in your filter and partly die off, it often happens with no rise in ammonia, but usually is accompanied by a fall in disolved O2 so you need the increased movement not only to prevent the tank from going anoxic but to speed the bacteria on their way (one way or another).
