Cloudy Water

Just bought a new 55gal for my rbp and last night the water was clear and this morning its cloudy what should i do any body have any tips

yesterday?i take it that you havent cycled that tank.its a quite difficult situation now.if you have a friend nearby with established tank,you can get some of used filter media from his tank and add it to your filter.
other than that,frequent BIG water changes and aeration will help

i had them in my 20 gallon to start off with for a while and i used the water from my 20 gallon and put all that in my 55 gal

What about the filters themselves? Were they also on the 20g? Brand new filters? Established filter media in them? Looks like you maybe in the middle of cycling the tank.

no i used the filter that came with my 55gal not the 20 gal filter

The tank hasn't been cycled, right? If your 20 gallon is still up & running put the fish back in there and cycle the 55 gallon. You could also get some BioSpira and it would help cycle the tank faster or as stated before, some used filter media with established beneficial bacteria to jump start things.

ya the water from the 20gallon is not the stuff you need to get your tank cycled...its the substrate that you shoulda put in
