Just put my fish in my 125 gal from my 65 gal used old filters and 20 gallons water from old ,Fish did good but after 1 week water cloudy....should i do water change and vacum new gravel or is it to early to change water??? also what about those drops they sell in petland to make water clear .....any answers out there.......

Normally we cycle a tank before we put new fish in it........I agree with Ming for the most part, but don't wait a week...lol. Wait two or three days and do a PARTIAL water change of about 20%....if that...then in another two to three days do it again. Your gonna have minicycles, no doubt. You'll just have to let your bacteria get established first before you start doing water changes.

Sounds like a bacterial bloom. It is very common with new tanks. More than likely it will correct itself. I agree with Peanut Power concerning the rest of treatment. Should be harmless to the fish. I dont use the clear water drops,so i cant speak on that directly. Hope this helps.

The drops are only a temporary fix, they work but if you do not correct the underlying problem you will still get cloudy water. My personal preference is to not add any chemicals to my tanks unless it is absolutly needed. Just my $0.02

I use the treatment, with much success. I have never had cloudy water when cycling though. Add some prime, change some water.
