Cloudy water?

Ive got a fluval 180 tank, and have a fluval 205 filtering it! Now ever since its been set up (around 2 weeks) the water has been cloudy, yesterday i did a 50% water change, and the day before i did a 50% water change and its still the same!

A friend said it could be the lights making it look cloudy?

Any ideas?

u need to let ur water cycle, have u got fish in it

Yeah have 2 3" oscars!

I would have thought it would cleared by now though?

your tank can take 4 weeks or so to cycle..
feed them minimal food, and keep doing water changes every second day or so..
also, it could be the gravel that made it dirty, it will all settle down in a few weeks..
